Roberto is currently working as a teacher at a local private school. He teaches High School Physics, Chemistry, Algebra, and Spanish. Roberto also works a second job two nights a week teaching ESL at a technical college to non-English speakers. Whew! He is a tired man. When he is home, he likes to relax and take it easy by watching the news and playing with his boys. He also enjoys painting when he can find the time. Roberto enjoys teaching, but his dream is to become a doctor and hopes to be accepted and start medical school by Spring 2009.
Lauren is a Domestic Engineer, "aka" a stay-at-home mom. She is a cook, maid, personal servant, referree, coach, cheerleader, nurse, shopper, teacher, friend, disciplinarian, comforter, cleaner of anything and everything, and the list goes on. She works days and nights with no holidays or paid time off, no sick days, and no weekends. She receives no pay for her work, but she does get really great hugs, kisses, and "I wove you's" from her three kids. In her opinion, it is the greatest job in the world!
Daniel is five years old and the big brother of the family. Daniel is in the Pre-K program and attends school M-F from 8am to 2pm. He loves it and is learning how to write his letters and the different sounds the letters make. He gets to play and do alot of fun activities as well. When at home, he likes to be the boss of his brothers and sometimes needs to be reminded that he is not the mom or dad! Daniel is a good boy and enjoys reading books and is very inquisitive about the world around him. He always has a question to ask and is rarely quiet. He is full of energy and never seems to be tired. He is friendly and likes to make friends everywhere he goes (he will talk to strangers if they will listen)! He is a social butterfly and loves to go and do things. He is one of a kind and we love him!
Andrew is three years old and is our middle child. He is fiercely independent and wants to do everything himself. He is very curious and likes to use his daddy's tools. His curiousity and independence often lead him to time-out because of the destruction that tends to follow his path. He is very skilled with his hands. He can open up anything (soda cans, candy wrappers, chip bags, etc.) and is persistant enough when he wants something bad enough. He also loves to draw and paint and do all types of crafts and art activities. He can draw very well for his age and we think he may be a little artist like his daddy. He tends to be quiet and reserved, but when Daniel is around, he is full of life. He is becoming a big boy, but he still likes to be rocked and cuddled like a baby from time to time. He is very sweet and has a smile that will melt your heart.
Jacob is the baby of the family. He is almost 15 months old and is walking around everywhere. He is very calm and not at all mischevious like his two older brothers. But with time, he will learn. He did not begin walking on his own until he was almost 14 months old. He is my lap baby, he likes to be held. Jacob is happy and easy to please. He just goes with the flow of the house and rarely asks for much. He is entertained by the constant motion and noise of his older brothers and tries his hardest to keep up with them. He babbles alot and tries to make words, but is not quite there yet. He is the sweetest baby and we are so blessed to have him. He brings alot of joy to our home.
